MicroPilot Launches Two New UAV Integrated Autopilots MP2028/2128^LRC

MicroPilot has recently developed two new UAV autopilot packages, the MP2028^LRC/MP2128^LRC. (MP2028^LRC features the MP2028^g autopilot while the MP2128^LRC features MicroPilot’s MP2128^g autopilot.) Each product represents an avionics suite designed to dramatically enhance reliability and integration for the UAV operator. The LRC integrated autopilots are convenient with multiple control modes, improved emergency response and ultimate communication and control range.

The MP2028^LRC and MP2128^LRC also offer enhanced reliability through greater distance and flexibility. “LRC” stands for “long range communication,” which refers to their redundant, long-range data communication link. LRC products feature a ground unit using standard, off-the-shelf radio modems. RC control information rides on both the existing GCS datalink and a second redundant datalink, which reduces possible failure modes.
