Put your UAV project on the fast track to success using MicroPilot’s comprehensive selection of training, integration, flight testing and custom development services.  As an added convenience, MicroPilot training is available at “your place or ours.” You can choose to have a MicroPilot expert come to your site or you can send your person or team to the MicroPilot flight facility.  Another option is to mix and match our programs. For example, you can spend a week at the MicroPilot flight facility, then follow it up with additional training conveniently located at your site. In addition to training, MicroPilot offers custom software and hardware development.

In depth Autopilot Training Course

Training & Integration

MicroPilot UAV Autopilot Training

Shortcut your learning curve with the five day MicroPilot UAV autopilot’s course. The course consists of two days in the classroom and three days on the flight line. The course covers autopilot installation and checkout, configuring MicroPilot accessories, operating and configuring the HORIZON^MP GCS, flight testing, adjusting feedback gains and parameter setting. The course culminates in three days of actual flying with a small UAV, where you put into practice the skills learned in the classroom.

The MicroPilot UAV autopilot training will give your project the edge. MicroPilot UAV autopilot training is available either at MicroPilot’s facility or your own.

MicroPilot Integration Assistance

When your place doesn’t work, try ours. Send your team and airframe to the MicroPilot UAV flight facility and take advantage of our workshops, equipment, runways, and most of all, UAV experience. Our expert technicians will assist your team in integrating the MicroPilot autopilot and accessories into your airframe. You will also have access to our flight facility, where you can test fly your airframe to adjust and tune the UAV autopilot and accessories.

On-Site Training Integration Assistance

When time is critical, take advantage of MicroPilot’s on-site integration and flight testing assistance. A MicroPilot expert technician will come to your site to assist in the integration of the MicroPilot autopilot and accessories into your airframe, followed with intensive test flying to adjust and tune the new equipment.

MicroPilot One Step UAV Integration Service

If you don’t have the time or the expertise to take your project from the drawing board to the sky, take advantage of the MicroPilot’s one-step UAV integration assistance. Ship your UAV to the MicroPilot flight facility, and our team will take it from there. From installation through configuration to final flight testing our team of experts will do whatever it takes to make your project a success.

XTENDER^mp Software Training

XTENDER^mp Training

You can send your software developer or team to the MicroPilot flight facility to work with one of our XTENDER^mp experts to learn how to harness the power of the XTENDER^mp Software Developer’s Kit. Through XTENDER^mp, it is possible to implement alternate control laws, collect and display data from custom sensors and cameras. XTENDER^mp training is two days at the MicroPilot flight facility.

XTENDER^mp Coaching

This is a follow up to the XTENDER^mp training, and the logical next stage for those who want to apply the power of XTENDER^mp to develop their own custom applications. The coaching includes a workplace, along with the exclusive use of one of our XTENDER^mp experts assigned to work with you on the actual development of your own custom application(s). Minimum coaching is two days and takes place at the MicroPilot flight facility.
