MicroPilot is ISO 9001 certified and registered under the Canadian Controlled Goods program. MicroPilot is located so we can flight test UAVs outside our building. Inside MicroPilot has an IMU calibration chamber, HASS/HALT test equipment, 32 channel GPS simulator and other tools MicroPilot uses to develop new products and to ensure our autopilot’s reliability.
There are three categories of ITB indirect transactions where working with MicroPilot could help fulfill obligor’s ITB obligation.
MicroPilot is interested in research and development of UAV related technology. MicroPilot’s interests include machine vision, high reliability software and hardware; health monitoring, hardware and software certification; see and be seen; and other topics pertaining to autonomy and flight controls.
MicroPilot is interested in the obligor’s expertise to assist MicroPilot with certification projects, including DO-178B, DO-160, and DO-254. MicroPilot is also seeking help marketing our products in several strategic markets such as the USA.
Often larger companies have intellectual property whose economic benefit is not great enough to justify their bringing this IP to market. Given our location, expertise, and existing access to the UAV market, MicroPilot is well suited to commercialize intellectual property pertaining to unmanned systems. MicroPilot attends UAV tradeshows, has a dedicated sales team and an existing customer base of professional UAV manufacturers.
